Marriott, Las Vegas, NV, July 25-29, Conference Chair, Kay Chesnut, Boeing • Budget approved; IEEE loan received • Fall 2010 RESG meeting at site • 2012—Intercontinental, Miami, FL, July 16-20, Conference Chair, Ken LaBel, NASA GSFC • Conference committee finalized • 2013—Hyatt Embarcadero, San Francicso, July 8-12, Conference Chair, Jeff Black, Vanderbilt • RESG met in SF and approved site: March 2010 • 2014—Conference Chair, Robert Ecoffet, CNES • Plan is to have first IEEE NSREC outside North America • Spring RESG meeting at proposed site (TBD) • Working with ETC Services on site selection

  11. 2013: 50th Anniversary NSREC Suggestion from REC: Package all “radiation effects” papers from the IEEE TNS (Dec. and Aug. special issues) from 1964-2012 into DVD for distribution at conference • Pro: REC believes this would be valuable to conference attendees, and/or NPSS members • Con: potential loss of downloads Themed social – difficult to work “extra event” into typical budget. Still thinking … Also considering special issue of IEEE TNS Highly successful April 1996 (Single Event Effects and Space Radiation Environment) and June 2003 (40th Anniversary NSREC: review articles) issues RESG will work with IEEE TNS editors
