What is Fun? • Webster’s Definition: • Something that provides amusement, enjoyment or playfulness • How does this apply to sports and the MYSL? • We want player and parents to enjoy the experience • We want the players to play with other Muslims, form new and lasting friendships • Show our young that Muslims can compete and have FUN too • Coach’s role • You Are the FUN • You Are the Enjoyment Factor • You Are the Key

Before the game Be on time, be prepared Inject fun in the warm-up Jumping Jacks Follow the leader Alternate between kids leading stretches During the Game Equal playing times Attendance sheet Parent to assist to ensure Encouragement High fives Tell them when they do good Use positive language Remember its NOT about you* After the Game Cheers Rewards Stamps Candy/ Ideas and Resources (Under 10)

Ask them (each player should have a min) What did we do good? Where we need to improve Ask the team to give ideas for the next practice Ideas and Resources (Over 10)
