  2. A B O U T Taj Mahal – rEGARDE as the finest example of Mughal architecture, that combines elements from Persian, Ottoman Turkic and Indian architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Construction of Taj Mahal was begun around 1632 and was completed around 1653. The construction was entrusted to a board of architects under imperial supervision of Abdul-Karim Ma’mur Khan, Makramat Khan and Ustad Ahmad Lahauri Development of the tomb was basically finished in 1643 yet work proceeded on different periods of the venture for an additional 10 years.   3. The Taj Mahal Crown of the Palace is an ivory-white marble catacomb on the south bank of the Yamuna stream in the Indian city of Agra. It was charged in 1632 by the Mughal sovereign, Shah Jahan (ruled from 1628 to 1658), to house the tomb of his most loved spouse, Mumtaz Mahal.
