Project #1: Government Function vs. Classroom Function • Project 2: Services Government ProvidesUsing the PBS Democracy Project you will research different government services that are provided in our local community.  For example, did you know the Public Library is funded by the government and our school receives funding from the federal government? Under the Resources tab use the link available to work with your group to identify two services and what they provide for our community. • Project 3: Levels of Government Your task is to create a foldable that details the roles and responsibilities at the different levels of government here in the United States. Using your tally chart complete the bar graph. Thursday – Friday With a partner write 3 equivalent name pairs ( 2+2 = 4 matches //// - 4 tally marks) then as a group mix all cards, put them face down and try to find the pairs. Write your pairs in your math notebook.
