  1. Worried? How should we respond internally when feeling worried or Anxious? • Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) • 5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. • Why? • Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

  2. How are we helped when we trust Him? Worried? • Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV) • 7“ Blessedis the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fearwhen heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

  3. Worried? What does Jesus say about worry? • Matthew 6:25-29“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? • 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? • “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

  4. Worried? What does Jesus have to say about worry? • Matthew 6:30- 31 • (NKJV) 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? • 31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

  5. Worried? What is a condition laid out in scripture for receiving all of God’s blessings in our lives? • Matthew 6:32-33 …For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. • But seekfirst the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

  6. Worried? How should respond when we feel like we are losing our mind over something? • Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV) • Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

  7. Worried? Is Jesus just concerned about some of our needs? • Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) • And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. • Why would He supply you needs? • 1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV) • …casting all your care upon Him, • for He cares for you. So relax and let Him->
