Basic mobility problems in Serbia Impossible to finance incoming mobility from its own resources Low salaries of researchers and poor funding of scientific research projects by the state No information on living and working conditions Disintegration of the University There is no coordinated effort to promote the existing capacity in order to foster international cooperation There are no uniform procedures for the recognition of diplomas at the universities There is no system of collecting information on international cooperation of faculties There is no system of scientificvisa EURAXESS in Serbia - European, regional and national perspectives

SER-MORE Projekat • Aims • Development of operating infrastructure (National EURAXESS network)for providing services for outgoing and incoming researchers • Development of a sustainable organizational structure of the network • Collecting information relevant to the provision of services to researchers • Providing direct services • Publication of an open, accessible and interactive web portal to support the delivery of services and promotion • Achieve recognition of network within the national R & D environment • Partners • Universities in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevc, Nis, FIT, Ministri for science and tehnological development EURAXESS in Serbia - European, regional and national perspectives

Main project results • Capacity drvelopment of national EURAXESS network • Declaration of commitment, trainings, workshops • Colecting relevant data about • foreign researchers, queries, testimonies, R & D vacancies,news and press releases, practical information • Promotion • Info days, conferencies, newsletter, online advertising, Facebook page • Services • Practical information published on EURAXESS portal, incoming and outgoing mobility guides EURAXESS in Serbia - European, regional and national perspectives

Future of the network • Aims • Maintenance activities of the BHO through projects of transnational cooperation of EURAXESS network • Maintenance of network capacity through participation in workshops and training sessions organized by the European Commission and transnational projects • Continuity of participation of national representatives in the relevant national and European Commission’s bodies • Continuity of the activities of SG of National EURAXESS Network • Vision • Agency for career development and mobility of researchers EURAXESS in Serbia - European, regional and national perspectives
