  2. 14 – Renaissance & Reformation • Discuss how the acceptance of nonreligious attitudes led to the development of the Renaissance. • Summarize how the study of Greek and Roman culture influenced the arts. • Explain how the Italian Renaissance spread to northern and western Europe.

  3. 14 – Renaissance & Reformation • Assess how the Renaissance affected writers and artists of Northern Europe. • Describe how calls for reform of the Roman Catholic Church led to the Reformation • Analyze how the Roman Catholic Church reformed in response to the Reformation.
