  4. إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَآيَاتٍ لِأُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ “Lo! In the creation of the heavens and the earth and in the difference of night and day are tokens for men of understanding, ” Qur’an-3:190

Creation • إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ • Lo! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of night and day, and • the Vessels (ships) which run upon the sea with what is of use to men, and • the water which Allah sends down from the sky, thereby reviving the earth after its demise, and • dispersing of beasts therein, and • in the ordinance of the winds, and the clouds obedient between heaven and earth: are signs (of Allah's Sovereignty) for people who have sense. (Quran 2:164)

The Big Bang Theory إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, “Be", and It is! • The Big Bang Theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. At its simplest, it talks about the universe as we know it starting with a small singularity, then inflating over the next 13.8 billion years to the cosmos that we know today. • Planck's observations, released in 2013, mapped the background in unprecedented detail and revealed that the universe was older than previously thought: 13.82 billion years old, rather than 13.7 billion years old. How did our universe come into existence? • The Belgian Astronomer George Lemaitre, in 1927, addressing the origin of the universe, proposed that the entire universe was once condensed into a single mass which subsequently exploded. • This extremely condensed mass was called • the primeval atom and • the massive explosion was called • the “big bang” explosion. • With the advancement of science and technology human-beings have come to find out, in the last 50 years, about 13.82 Billion years ago there was a Big Bang, that lead to the rise of the Universe, the galaxies, the Sun, the Solar System and the Earth.

(Big Bang Theory):The gaseous mass ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ائْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ • Then turned He to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: Come both of you, willingly or unwillingly. They said: We come, obedient. (see Surah 41:1 1). • Dr. Maurice Bucaille in his book The Bible, the Quran and Science explains: "the Universe was formed from a gaseous mass principally composed of hydrogen and a certain amount of helium that was slowly rotating" (p.147). (Big Bang Theory) • We notice here two remarkable features of the Quran. • The first is that it expresses scientific truths that will be verified many centuries later. • The second is that the Quran expresses those truths using expressions that would avoid confusing its first readers in the seventh century. • The seventh century reader of the Quran can easily relate to the image of smoke, and the twentieth century scientist can easily interpret the word as a gaseous mass.

Parting the Heaven and earth أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ • "Have not the disbelievers known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe? (Quran 21:30). • Dr. Bucaille sees this as "the reference to a separation process of a primary single mass whose elements were initially fused together" (p.143). Thus the Quran gives an accurate account of the formation of the universe to call upon humankind to recognize the power of their creator.

INTERSTELLAR GALACTIC MATERIAL لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ الثَّرَىٰ • "To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the ground. " (Quran 20:6). • What is that between the heavens and the earth? • Scientists tell us that a primary nebula condensed, then divided up into fragments. • These fragments, these galactic masses, further split up into stars and their sub-products, the planets. • Each time such a division or split occurred, there remained extra material apart from the principal elements newly formed. • The scientific name for these extra materials is 'interstellar galactic material'.

  13. You have seen and discovered for yourself the true nature of modern astronomy by means of modern equipment, rockets, and space ships, developed by man. You have also seen how the same facts were mentioned by the Quran 14 centuries ago, so what is your opinion about these?He replied: "That is a difficult question which I have been thinking about since our discussions here. I am impressed at how remarkably some of the ancient writings seem to correspond to modern and recent astronomy. I am not a sufficient scholar of human history to project myself completely and reliably into the circumstances that 1400 years ago would have prevailed." Creation from water وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَابَّةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَىٰ بَطْنِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَىٰ رِجْلَيْنِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَىٰ أَرْبَعٍ ۚ يَخْلُقُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ • "And Allah has created from water every living creature: • so of them is that which walks upon its belly, • and of them is that which walks upon two feet, • and of them is that which walks upon four; • Allah creates what He pleases; surely Allah has power over all things. " (24:45)

  15. How did life originate? وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاء كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَيٍّ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ(21:30) And we have made every living thing out of water. Won’t you believe? • Today scientists have found that life originated from water. • Protoplasm is the living substance that makes up a cell and it is made of 80% water. • Does this point to the Evolution theory!?

Creation of humanity هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا شُيُوخًا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّى مِن قَبْلُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ • “It is Allah Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength; then lets you become old,- though of you there are some who die before;- and lets you reach a term appointed; in order that you may learn wisdom.” [40:67]

Evolution يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ "O man, what has emboldened thee against thy Gracious Lord, Who created thee, then perfected thee, then proportioned thee aright? In whatever form He pleased, He fashioned thee." Ch.82 v.7-9

Astronomy خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۖ يُكَوِّرُ اللَّيْلَ عَلَى النَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارَ عَلَى اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۗ أَلَا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ • "He created the heavens and the earth in true proportions. He makes the night overlap the day, and the day overlap the night. He has subjected the sun and the moon to His law; each one follows a course for a time appointed. Is not He the Exalted in Power - He Who forgives again and again?" (39:5).

  19. Geology وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ • You see the mountains and think them firmly fixed: but they shall pass as the clouds passaway: Such is the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for He is well acquainted with all that ye do. (27:88).

  20. Someone 1400 years ago could not know the heavens and the earth had the same origin..""Thinking about many of these questions and thinking where Muhammad came from, he was after all a bedouin. I think it is impossible that he could have known about things like the common origin of the universe, because scientists have only found out within the last few years with very complicated and advanced technological methods that this is the case.""Somebody who did not know something about nuclear physics 1400 years ago could not, I think, be in a position to find out from his own mind for instance that the earth and the heavens had the same origin, or many others of the questions that we have discussed here." Professor Alfred Kroner is a Professor of Geology and the Chairman of the Department of Geology at the Institute of Geosciences, Johannes Gutenburg University, Mainz, Germany. Professor Alfred said:

What Holds Up The Sky? خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ … • He created the heavens without pillars as you see them, and put mountains upon the earth lest it might convulse with you,… (Quran 31:10). اللَّهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِۖ …. • Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that you see, and He is firm in power and …. (Quran 13:2). • Dr. Maurice Bucaille comments: "These two verses refute the belief that the vault of the heavens was held up by pillars, the only things preventing the former from crushing the earth" (The Bible, the Quran and Science, p. 154).

  22. The Sun & Moon and their Orbits وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ • And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit. (Quran 21:33; 36:40). لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنْبَغِي لَهَا أَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ ۚ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ • It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit. • Dr. Bucaille says: "These motions of the two celestial bodies are confirmed by the data of modern science, and it is inconceivable that a man living in the seventh century A.D.... could have imagined them" (The Bible, the Quran and Science, p. 163).

  23. مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَا يَبْغِيَانِ فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Allah has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: Between them is a barrier which they cannot passWhich then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? “He has let loose the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress”

  24. Do the waters of the different Oceans mix? مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِبَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَا يَبْغِيَانِفَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ Allah has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: Between them is a barrier which they cannot pass. 55:19-20 • It was Jacques-Yves Cousteau, the French Oceanographer, who studied and examined the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. • He discovered though the seas merged, they did not mix. • Each sea has its own salinity, density and temperature. • An incredible barrier prevented the two seas from mixing and dissolving in each other. • Same is true of the Atlantic and Indian.

  25. After a discussion with Professor Hay about theQuran’s mention of recently discovered facts on seas, he said: “I find it very interesting that this sort of information is in the ancient scriptures of the Holy Quran, and I have no way of knowing where they would come from, but I think it is extremely interesting that they are there and that this work is going on to discover it, the meaning of some of the passages.”  And when he was asked about the source of the Quran, he replied: “Well, I would think it must bethe Divine Being.”  مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَا يَبْغِيَانِ فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ “He has let loose the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress”

  26. THE CONQUEST OF SPACE يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَنْ تَنْفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنْفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ • "O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! Only with authority shall ye be able to pass!" Surah 55, verse 33 • 'This verse indicates the possibility that men will one day achieve what we today call 'the conquest of space'. • One must note that the text of the Quran predicts not only penetration through the regions of the Heavens, but also the Earth, i.e. the exploration of its depths.

  27. The Expansion of the Universe وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ • We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make it expanding. (Surah 51, verse 47) • The expansion of the Universe is a recent discovery of modern science • Universe is probably constantly increasing and this increase will become bigger the further away the galaxies are from us.

  28. The Expansion of the Universe وَالسَّمَاء بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ(51:47) We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make it expanding. (Surah 51, verse 47) • Using the most sophisticated telescope devised by man • In 1950 the American astronomer Hubble with help of Albert Einstein observed • that the galaxies were receding from each other, • which proved that the Universe was expanding. • As a matter of fact the Universe is expanding at the rate of 196,000 miles/sec.

  29. Mountains as Pegs أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًاوَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا “Have We not made the earth an expanse, And the mountains as pegs? ” 78:6-7 • Modern earth sciences have proven that mountains have deep roots under the surface of the ground (see next slide) • These pegs can reach several times their elevations above the surface of the ground.  • The history of science tells us that the theory of mountains having deep roots was introduced only in the latter half of the nineteenth century. • God has said in the Quran: وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَنْ تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَأَنْهَارًا وَسُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ • “And He has cast great mountains in the earth lest it might be convulsed with you, and rivers and roads that you may go aright, ” (Quran 16:15) • Mountains also play an important role in stabilizing the crust of the earth. They hinder the shaking of the earth. 

  30. Pegs Mountains have deep roots under the surface of the ground. (Earth, Press and Siever, p. 413.) Schematic section.  The mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground. (Anatomy of the Earth, Cailleux, p. 220.)

  31. “I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in the Quran, and for us the modern astronomers have been studying very small pieces of the universe. We’ve concentrated our efforts for understanding of [a] very small part.  Because by using telescopes, we can see only very few parts [of] the sky without thinking [about the] whole universe.  So, by reading [the] Quran and by answering to the questions, I think I can find my future way for investigation of the universe.” Dr. Yoshihide Kozai is Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University, Hongo, Tokyo, Japan, and was the Director of the National Astronomical Observatory, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan.  He said:

  32. Fetal Development ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ • "But God fashioned man in due proportion, and breathed into him of His spirit. And He gave you hearing, and sight, and understanding" (32:9). أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِنْ مَنِيٍّ يُمْنَىٰثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنْثَىٰ • "Was he not a drop of sperm emitted, then did he become a leach-like clot. Then did Allah make and fashion him in due proportion. And of him He made two sexes, male and female" (75:37-39).

  33. In three veils of darknessفِي ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلَاثٍ Dr. Moore says: We do not know when it was realized that human beings underwent development in the uterus (womb), but the first known illustration of a fetus in the uterus was drawn by Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century.

  34. The "veils of darkness" are:(1) the anterior abdominal wall; (2) the uterine wall, and (3) the amnio-chorionic membrane.

  35. “The way it was explained to me is that Muhammad was a very ordinary man.  He could not read or write. In fact, he was an illiterate.  And we’re talking about fourteen hundred years ago.  You have someone illiterate making profound pronouncements and statements and that are amazingly accurate about scientific nature.  And I personally can’t see how this could be a mere chance.  There are too many accuracies and, like Dr. Moore, I have no difficulty in my mind that this is adivine inspirationor revelation which led him to these statements.”  Dr. T. V. N. Persaud is Professor of Anatomy, Professor of Pediatrics and Child Health, and Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is the author or editor of 22 textbooks and has published over 181 scientific papers.  He was the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy for 16 years.  In 1991, he received the most distinguished award presented in the field of anatomy in Canada, the J.C.B. Grant Award from the Canadian Association of Anatomists

  36. “The Quran describes not only the development of external form, but emphasizes also the internal stages, the stages inside the embryo, of its creation and development, emphasizing major events recognized by contemporary science.” “As a scientist, I can only deal with things which I can specifically see.  I can understand embryology and developmental biology.  I can understand the words that are translated to me from the Quran.  As I gave the example before, if I were to transpose myself into that era, knowing what I knew today and describing things, I could not describe the things which were described.  I see no evidence for the fact to refute the concept that this individual, Muhammad, had to be developing this information from some place.  So I see nothing here in conflict with the concept thatdivine interventionwas involved in what he was able to write.” Dr. E. Marshall Johnson is Professor Emeritus of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.  There, for 22 years he was Professor of Anatomy, the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy, and the Director of the Daniel Baugh Institute.  He was also the President of the Teratology Society.  He has authored more than 200 publications.

  39. “In a relatively few Ayahs (Quranic verses) is contained a rather comprehensive description of human development from the time of commingling of the gametes through organogenesis.No such distinct and complete record of human development, such as classification, terminology, and description, existed previously.  In most, if not all, instances, this description antedates by many centuries the recording of the various stages of human embryonic and fetal development recorded in the traditional scientific literature.”  Dr. Gerald C. Goeringer is Course Director and Associate Professor of Medical Embryology at the Department of Cell Biology, School of Medicine, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, USA.  During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Goeringer stated the following in the presentation of his research paper:

  40. “And certainly We created man of an extract of clay, Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. Then after that you will most surely die. Then surely on the day of resurrection you shall be raised”Referring to this Quranic verse, Dr. Keith Moore says:“This verse from the Koran states that God made you from a drop and then changed the drop into a leech-like structure which soon changed into a chewed like substance that then took the shape of bone and was clothed with flesh”  “I was amazed at the scientific accuracy of these statements which were made in the 7th century A.D” Dr. Moore was Professor of Anatomy and Chairman of the Department, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto.

  41. A drop in a place of restنُطْفَةً فِي قَرَارٍ مَكِينٍ Dr. Moore says: The drop or nutfah نُطْفَةًhas been interpreted as the sperm or spermatozoon, but a more meaningful interpretation would be the zygote which divides to form a blastocyst which is implanted in the uterus ("a place of rest").

  42. A leech-like structure • Dr. Moore says: • The word "alaqah عَلَقَةً" refers to a leech or bloodsucker. • This is an appropriate description of the human embryo from days 7-24 when it clings to the endometrium (lining) of the uterus, in the same way that a leech clings to the skin. • Just as the leech derives blood from the host, the human embryo derives blood from the decidua or pregnant endometrium

  43. Knowledge in the field of embryology could not progress significantly until the microscope was discovered in the 16 hundreds. After it was possible to examine cells under the microscope, it was reasoned in the 17 hundreds that development resulted from growth and differentiation of embryonic cells. "The staging of human embryos was not proposed until the 1940's, and the stages used nowadays were not adopted worldwide until a few years ago."It is reasonable to interpret the three veils of darkness mentioned in the Koran as: (a) the mother's abdominal amniochorionic membrane composed of the fused amnion and chorion. These three anatomical layers protect the embryo from external injury. Dr. Moore was Professor of Anatomy and Chairman of the Department, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto.

  44. Which organ is developed first eyes or ears? إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا (76:2) Verily We created the human from a drop of liquid mixture in order to elevate (try) him: So We gave him the gifts of Hearing and Sight. • How marvelous it is to think that a day will come when a mixture called zygote will be able to hear, see, laugh, weep, think, understand; • and artistic works may be created by him endowed with aesthetic feelings. What a great gift for a man! • By the 23rd week of pregnancy the ears is completed and the retina is still undeveloped even into the 25th week!

  45. The Finger Print and the Human Being بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ(75:4) Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. • Dr. Johannes Purkinje, the first to classify fingerprints in 1832 as unique to the individual • The pattern of lines at the tip of a person’s finger is used nowadays to identify the person. • The pattern of lines on fingertips was a sort of identity card is often used by the police to help find criminals. • The pattern lines of the fingertips differ even in identical twins.

  46. “During the last three years, I became interested in the Quran . . . From my study and what I have learned from this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means.  Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth, which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the one who is eligible [as the] creator.  This creator must be God.  Therefore, I think this is the time to say there is no god to worship except Allah (God), Muhammad is Messenger (Prophet) of Allah (God).  Lastly, I must congratulate for the excellent and highly successful arrangement for this conference . . . . "...our knowledge of these disciplines is such, that it is impossible to explain how a text produced at the time of the Quran could have contained ideas that have only been discovered in modern times.""The above observation makes the hypothesis advanced by those who see Muhammad as the author of the Quran untenable. How could a man, from being illiterate, become the most important author, in terms of literary merits, in the whole of Arabic literature?How could he then pronounce truths of a scientific nature that no other human-being could possibly have developed at that time, and all this without once making the slightest error in his pronouncement on the subject?". Dr. Maurice Bucaille is an eminent French surgeon, scientist, scholar and author of "THE BIBLE THE QUR'AN AND MODERN SCIENCE", and "WHAT IS THE ORIGIN OF MAN?" which contains the result of his research into the Judaeo-Christian Revelation and the Qur'an. It is a unique contribution in the field of religion and science. After a study which lasted ten years, Dr. Maurice Bucaille addressed the French Academy of Medicine in 1976 concerning the existence in the Quran of certain statements concerning physiology and reproduction.   48. After all these examples of the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran and all these scientists’ comments on them, let us ask ourselves these questions:1. Could it be a coincidence that all this recently discovered scientific information from different fields was mentioned in the Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago? 2. Could this Quran have been authored by Muhammad  or by any other human being? There is no escape of coming to the conclusion that the Quran was the literal Word by God, as revealed by Him.

  49. “Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allah sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its demise, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth,are indeed Ayât (proofs, evidences, signs, etc.) for people of understanding”Qur’an: 2:164 إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ For Qur’an Translation www.tafheem.net pabdullatheef@gmail.com
