  1. Tell Me More - English The Tell Me More program covers all of the basic skills used in learning English: not only reading, writing, listening, and speaking, but also grammar, vocabulary, and culture. How to Use the Program

  2. How to Find the Program Step 1: Select the ESL Resources folder on the Skills Center desktop image Step 2: Select the All Skills folder

  3. How to Find the Program Step 3: Select the program level you want to work in. This information can be found on your Skills Center assignment sheet. Step 4: First time users, click “Create a new account”. Remember your password so you can use this program on future Skills Center visits!

  4. How to Use the Program Step 5: Type in your name and a password. Type the password in again in the third line to confirm it. Click the green when finished. Step 6: Select “Free-to-Roam” mode to work on the lessons of your choice. Click the green checkmark to continue.

  5. Navigating the Main Screen Scroll through the selection of topics using these arrows Select the topic you want to work on from these choices. • These six buttons allow you to select from the following workshops: • Lesson • Cultural • Vocabulary • Grammar • Oral • Written

  6. Selecting Activities Step 1: Once you have selected a topic, click on “Choose an activity” on the bottom of the page Step 2: Click on the activity you want to work on from this list. Step-by-step instructions are given within each activity. Return to the main screen or previous page using these buttons

  7. Other Resources:Find Out More About a Word If you need more information about any word in this program, click on the red button in the top left corner of the screen. You can then click on any underlined word. A box that shows translations and recordings, a link to pronunciation practice, and a list of conjugations for verbs will appear on the screen.

  8. Other Resources:Grammar Explanations If you need more explanation on grammar in any activity, click on the circles in the middle of the screen. A box with a detailed grammar explanation will appear on the screen.

  9. Performance Evaluation Activities you have completed appear as colored circles. Scroll over each circle to see your score. Tell Me More software keeps track of your performance. Check your progress at any time by clicking this button.

  10. Exiting the Program Exit the program from any screen by clicking on the X in the bottom right corner Please speak with Skills Center staff if you have questions or need more help with this program!
