  3. Phase 1 - Concept & Feasibility Assessment • Feasibility study • Proposal (10 pages): Idea, initial business plan, activities • Duration project: ~6 months • EU funding: €50,000 per project • Up to 3 coaching days • Outcome: feasibility assessment with a more elaborated business plan

  4. Phase 2 – Innovation Project • Proposal (30 pages): Idea with feasibility assessment + full business plan • Duration project: 1-2 years • EU funding: €0.5 - €2.5 million • Up to 12 coaching days • Outcome: • New idea (product, service, process) to launch on the market • Business innovation plan with a commercialization strategy & plan to attract investors

ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORK Sector Group Women entrepreneurship (1) A group of Network partners who committed to work together : • to provide dedicated support for the business development of woman entrepreneurs (e.g. business partnering and innovation services ) • to provide assistance to women entrepreneurs in joining existing networks or support (funding) programmes • to create links with existing initiatives promoting woman entrepreneurship and the Network's business and innovation support activities.; to increase and diversify the alliances of Enterprise Europe Network partners with other regional, national and European business support networks • to mainstream the concept of woman entrepreneurship in other Enterprise Europe Network activities 21 members covering 15 countries (Albania, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, FYROM, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UK)

ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORK Sector Group Women entrepreneurship (2) Company mission organised by the sector group • to exchange best practices of the beneficiaries of SME instrument • to provide opportunity to female potential clients to meet Key Account Managers of the SME Instrument who share their valuable experiences and information The group took active part in promoting the Call on “Enhancing the participation of Women Entrepreneurs in the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument “ which resulted in involvement of several sector group members in the two winning consortia “We GroW” and “EMPOWa".

  20. Why is it important to take the gender dimension into account? Integrating the sex and gender analysis in R&I added value in terms of excellence, creativity, and business opportunities helps researchers question gender norms and stereotypes, to rethink standards and reference models leads to an in-depth understanding of women and men citizens’ needs, behaviours, attitudes and interests  enhances the societal relevance of the knowledge, technologies and innovations produced and contributes to the production of goods and services better suited to potential markets

EIC Innovators Summit 2018“Women entrepreneurs” workshop key outcomes Investor women and entrepreneurs are a real power for Europe’s economy development, however the participation to the sector is very low due to different factors that need to be clarified. In particular they are linked to low percentage of women in STEM, awareness and to societal/cultural conditions. The opportunities and different means to support women entrepreneurs and investors were discussed. Networking and communication are very important, women supporting other women, appropriated coaching and being Role models for others Men need to be more involved in these networks and actions EC has already several dedicated actions that support women entrepreneurs. EASME will facilitate the connections and ease access to these actions. EASME is waiting for suggestions and contribute for this workshop clients to improve the process and increase the success rate for women founders.
