  1. Coherent Market Insights Complex degenerative disorders may benefit from regenerative therapies Regenerative therapies deliver specific types of cells or cell products to diseased organs or tissues to restore organ and tissue function. Regenerative medicine is one the fastest emerging fields of medicine, as it adopts stem cells for treatment. It is the field that studies how to repair and replace damaged or dying cells. It has many applications in the field of medicine such as regenerative procedures in cancer and skin aging. Regenerative therapies are also used in tissue regeneration and organ transplants. Some regenerative medical practices focus on tissue repair and regeneration as a treatment for severe burns and accidents. Furthermore, materials used in regenerative therapies aid the healing process. The study of regenerative medicine started with the development of tissue engineering, which involves the creation of genetically engineered cells. These cells are then implanted in the body where they can develop into organs or tissues needed by the person. Tissue engineering is one of the most important areas in regenerative medicine. Another area of focus for regenerative therapies is the field of organ transplantation. Organ transplants are used to treat some serious illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, organ transplant failures, and to replace organs that have been removed due to disease or injury. Some of these organ transplants are fully functional and other are not. Most transplants are from those who were able to donate their tissues, but there are some who need organ transplants due to disease or accidents.
