  7. Building Rapport Your relationship with your manager can greatly influence how well the conflict can be resolved, and how it is resolved. Consider the sender • The person who delivers the criticism can be as important as the content of the remarks. • Be a credible critic. Deliver the message professionally, and consider your relationship with your manager. • Make sure the criticism is appropriate to the critics role. • Consider your relationship with your manager and strategically deliver the message.

  12. Conclusion • In order to successfully persuade the other party consider your own credibility and the way the message is structured. • Diplomatically resolving conflicts with management can be difficult and stressful, but with a well thought out method of resolution the problem can be solved.
