Current JTLS-GO Analysis Effort ROLANDS & ASSOCIATES Corporation • Approximately Every Other Month • Conduct Two-Week Analysis For US INDO-PACOM • It Is Run At A High Classification Level • So I Cannot Discuss Specifics • But In Doing The Analysis There Have Been Some • Insight Into Improvements Needed • Process Lessons Learned

Analysis ImprovementsCross Run Retrievals ROLANDS & ASSOCIATES Corporation • In The Past R&A Hoped That • User Community Would Develop • Own Useful Queries and Reports • Develop “Pretty” Output Capabilities • Share This Effort With Entire Community • R&A Would Concentrate On Making Raw Data Available • This Is Not Working As Planned • Expect Concerted Effort To Start To Deliver “Pretty”

  9. Analysis ImprovementsOrder Reuse ROLANDS & ASSOCIATES Corporation • Currently A JTLS Order Looks Like This • Satellite With Three Points • Issue Is Sensor – This Is The Integer Index Of The Sensor • If Database Changes • Index Changes • Orders In Save Files No Longer Any Good

Lessons Learned ROLANDS & ASSOCIATES Corporation • Analysis Is Full-Time Job • Coming In Two-Weeks Every Other Month • Need To Update Database – Current Intel Information • This Takes Too Much Of Available Analysis Time • Intel Updates Should Be Implemented Immediately • Analysis Requires Model Expertise • Knowledge Of Inner Workings Of The Model • This Does Not Need To Be R&A, • Still How To Impart This Information

Lessons Learned ROLANDS & ASSOCIATES Corporation • Need Off Cycle Work Habits • Setup Runs – Go Away • Cannot Afford To Come Back On Monday Morning • Find Model Crash Or An Issue Happened On Saturday • Need Better Drawing Tools • Besides “Pretty” Graphs and Charts • Map Annotation Mandatory • Could Use “Fake” Icon Placement On Map
