  3. Overview • Briefly restate the reasoning behind this study. What are your studying and why? • What kind of study are you doing and what research led you to determine this? • What are the goals and expectations of the study? • What are your expected outcomes ?

  4. Design of the Study • Delimitations – What bounds your study? What have you chosen to not address and why? • Limitations –What are the potential weaknesses of your study? What are the constraints on generalizabiltiy and utility of findings of your study?

  5. Methodology • Participants – Who will participate in your study? Be as specific as possible with regard to numbers, but remember to keep the setting anonymous. • Instruments – What are your using to conduct your study? Discuss the instruments here, put actual copies of the instrument(s) in your appendices. • Procedures – How are you going to collect and analyze your data? Why did you chose these particular procedures? What research led you to make these decisions?

  6. Summary • Don’t forget to briefly summarize the chapter when you finish.
