LCFF Priority #6: Climate Survey California Healthy Kids Survey: • 90% of elementary and 83% of secondary students agreed with the statement, “I feel safe all or most of the time at school.” • Verbal harassment most frequently contributed to students feeling unsafe. • Students with 0-2 absences in 2017-2018 59.6% increased to 67.5% in 2018-2019. LCFF Priority #7: Broad Course of Study • Multiple data points used to place students, to make course offering decisions, and provide enrichment & intervention opportunities. • Students have access to in-class, online, project-based learning options, extended learning opportunities, and independent study. • Magnet programs (STEM, VAPA and Dual Language), International Baccalaureate, AVID, Academy Pathways, CTE coursework, and College Now (dual enrollment).

Indicator Highlights • Increase in the percent of first graders scoring on or above grade level in math on the mid-year iReady diagnostic • Increase in the number of 9th grade African American students that are on track to graduate • Increase in low income, Hispanic and EL students meeting UC/CSU requirements (2017-2018) • 2% increase in the number of English Learners meeting or exceeding standards on CAASPP-ELA • 6 elementary sites increased the % of students meeting or exceeding standards on CAASPP-Math by at least 5%, 2 of those sites increase by 10% • 5 elementary sites increased the % of students meeting or exceeding standards on CAASPP-ELA by at least 5% • Parents/guardians continue to participate in advisory committees
