  2. Background •  Einstein was born in Ulm, Württemberg, Germany on 14th march 1879. He began his schooling in Munich. He continued his education in Italy an Switzerland. • He gained his diploma in 1901 and after working as a technical assistant in a Swiss Patent Office got a doctors degree in 1905. He was soon promoted and went on to become a Professor in The University of Berlin. He was highly praised for his extra-ordinary thinking and won his Noble Prize for Physics in 1921. • Einstein died in April 1955(aged 76).

  3. His famous theory • One of his many great inventions is his Theory Of Relativity. He developed this new theory in 1915. Today his theory is accepted worldwide as the standard description. Gravity was part of his Theory of Relativity.

  4. His Famous Theory (continued) • Gravity is a force that attracts all objects towards each other. Its been around ever since this universe began and works the same way everywhere in this universe, on all kinds of objects, of all different sizes. The bigger an object is and the closer you are to it, the stronger its gravitational pull is. Two forces are attracted towards each other and the gravitational pull is what makes us always stay on the ground. Here is an example:

  5. His Famous theory (Continued) • On Earth the gravity keeps the air around us and everything else from going into space. It is the reason that objects don’t float in the air but fall down. Gravity makes hot air rise while cold air falls, which in turn causes wind. • Nobody really fully understands how or why gravity exists. Einstein is not the first man to find out about gravity, Isaac Newton is, but Albert Einstein’s theory proved that there are a few problems with some of the stuff that Newton said about gravity, which makes Einstein’s theory more relevant.

  6. His Famous Theory (continued) • Another part of the theory of relativity is the speed of light. Have you ever wondered what the fastest thing in the world is? Well Einstein has the answer, light. Einstein’s theory leads up to the conclusion that no object, no living thing, can ever travel faster then light. To be exact it can travel 299,792,458 meters per second.

  7. How it has changed our world • Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity has helped pave the way for the invention of many new things that have ended up in changing this whole world. Now a days because of the great understanding of how the universe works, inventors have been able to make new types of technology like Television, Microscope, AC, etc. • If Einstein hadn’t proved that gravity is the reason hot air rises while cool air falls down, it might not have been possible to create the Air Conditioner.

  8. How it has changed our society • Positive: It has advanced the education that every one gets and their ways of thinking. People are now all over the world growing intelligent reading and learning from books about this theory. Negative: Now people can just find out everything by searching, because of this theory coming out. People don’t have a lot of things left to think about.
