DGSYS DBSYS DMSYS DLSYS DCSYS Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Over view 1/3 The off-line programming tool provides legacy database converter feature that can convert system data of NCP/TDE/TDA series PBX into data for NS1000. Off line tool (V2.0) UPCMC (PBX Replacement) NS1000 is overwritten in new DCSYS. TDE100 /200 Edit Convert report TDE600 NCP500 /1000 TDA100 /200 DSYS NS1000 TDA600 Activation key is not transferred at the converting database TDE/NCP TDA The data of TDA should convert it into the data of TDE in UPCMC. Then it can be used for conversion into the data of NS1000.

TDA/TDE/NCP not used Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Over view 2/3 The feature supports 2 functionalities as follows. • Platform Replacement (TDE/NCP->NS1000) • Legacy database converter for replacing to NS1000 from legacy PBX • The target data of convert is the data of only IP Trunk and IP terminal. The data of a physical IP-GW card is not converted. IP Trunk V-IPGW16,V-SIPGW16 IP Trunk V-IPGW16,V-SIPGW16 IP-GW4,16 It’s not supported. Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Condition 1/7 The database converter is a part of application in off-line programming software and it is initiated by clicking the icon on launcher of the off-line programming. Note: Not support to convert via Web-MC (On-line) The following table shows target series of PBX and the version number to be converted. *1: Database file has to be converted into DGSYS or DMSYS of KX-TDE by using data replacement application on PCMC before the legacy database convertor.

Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Condition 2/7 Mode: Platform Replacement (TDE/NCP->NS1000) The following table shows which programming items can be converted *1: Include Extension number, Extension name, FF key data *2: Only support IP Extension and PS/IP-PS *3: Include Trunk number *4: IP trunk of IP-GW card is not supported.

  17. Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Unavailable cards 1/1 Following components can not be used with Legacy-GW. These data is deleted. *1: The data of IP extension is taken over to a virtual extension card.

Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Note 1/1 -TDADatabase (DSYS and DLSYS) file has to be converted into DGSYS or DMSYS of KX-TDE by using data replacement application on PCMC before the legacy database convertor. -New program items added in NS1000 are filled by the default value. -All data of numbering plan are switched to originated (New DCSYS) data since the default values are different between NS1000 and other PBXs. -New setting of dial plan added in NS1000, which is not in legacy PBXs, are filled with BLANK. -OPB card and any card on OPB card are not supported to convert. -Activation key is not transferred at the converting database.

  21. Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Procedure of conversion 3/7 A part of region should change the setting. Please refer to P26. Parametes and operation is completely same as Easy Setup wizard. P22 (When the slave is connected) IP addresses, type of registration and password, etc programmed on TDE/NCP are displayed by default. Converting time is estimated to take with in 10 seconds P23 (Case with TDE100/200/NCP)

  22. Database Converter (NS1000 Off line mode V2.0) Procedure of conversion 4/7 This operation is required in case source database file contains an more than 3 expansion unit setting of TDA/E600/620. P23 Converting time is estimated to take with in 10 seconds

It might be effective help to make the New Configuration of NS1000. These contents are examples. Recommended AK is displayed. Both the deleted extension number and the deleted CO number are described. OPB card and any card on OPB card are not supported to convert.
