  7. New IPPT NT5XX series (MGCP based) KX-NT543/546 for V2.0 • Design is based on UT series, and Key arrangement is based on NT series • SP-PHONE key is placed lower right • Frequently used key (TRANSFER, HOLD, REDIAL) are placed on bottom line.

  8. One-look Networking Survivability Summary Approach network customers by One-look Networking Survivability < Networking function is one of the key function as a IP-PBX > • < Background > • Increase the demand of network • Carrier IP service become popular • Standard function for IP-PBX • Survivability is mandatory for network • < Merit > • Full feature transparency • Server less Diversification of workstyle ・システムの分散配置で 拠点間のシームレス化! (状態表示、着信分配) phone PC PBX PC phone mail Home Worker Cell Phone Single Site Mobile Worker Multi Site Improvement by this function 1. Master system failure -> Pre-assigned slave cabinet becomes master. 2. Network failure ( Isolated ) -> Slave unit works as stand alone mode. 3. Secondary registration ( Terminal loose contact with Primary NS ) -> Terminal will be registered to pre-assigned Secondary NS. Network Configuration Image Slave 2 IP-NW 1 Master Slave 3

  9. One-look Networking Survivability 1 • Backup-master Mode 4 NS1000 are connected as One look. And Slave 1 is assigned as “Backup Master”. Slave1 Master Backup Master (Slave1) Slave2 Slave3 When Master died Slave1 become temporary master to run rest of system under One-look network.

  10. One-look Networking Survivability 2 2.Isolated Mode 4 NS1000 are connected as One look. Slave1 Master Isolated mode Slave2 Slave3 Isolated mode Isolated mode If Slave can’t communicate neither Master or Back up master like when VPN network down all slave unit can’t talk to Master. Then each Slave become Isolated mode and run by itself but with some limitation.

  11. One-look Networking Survivability 3 3.Automatic Rerouting to Secondary PBX Slave1 Master When the IPPT has no communication between NS where they Primary belong to then those IPPT can divert to connect secondary NS. IPPT mean UT/NT/UDT(SIP based DECT) except IPCS. The feature is slightly differ from that you knew same feature for TDE/NCP. Please refer PPT explain detail of this feature.
