Pepnice Corp • Came to visit Louisiana - January 2010 • Largest manufacturer of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) in the World • Would like to produce LED lighting fixtures and electronic billboards in Louisiana • Would like to be able to sell products to retail stores (Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Lowes) • LEDs come retrofitted to replace traditional fixtures • Fixtures could be use in residential and commercial buildings • Other uses are airport lights, street lights, automotive • LEDs are environmentally friendly to manufacture, energy efficient, reduced heat output, use less wattage, longer lifetime of bulb
