Information Replace outdated print material, VHS, microfilm with new technology to further engage student learners and inspire teachers to expand their lessons Increase library databases, expand technology programs, purchase laptops, I-Pads, E-Readers, E-Books for library use Increase network speed Increase the amount of desktop computers for drop-in area

  3. Teacher Technology Professional Development to expand lesson plans that include up to date technology • Teacher Technology Blogs. Increase and share information • Debate room for group work and presentations for students in the library. • Encourage students to use the library for their research. • Students are well informed on how to use technology. Teachers need to develop ways to facilitate/ engage further learning . Education

Extend the library hours after school and before school. • Create a comfortable atmosphere for leisure use as well as studying • Comfortable furniture and soft lighting. • Expand resources in non-academic courses, collaboration between the teacher-librarian and subject teachers. • Create an area that is used by all students to promote school culture and student interaction. Multi-use areas that include quiet study areas, group activity areas and an eating area for students to study or lounge in library • Increase the recreational value of the Centennial library as an interactive learning center for students and members of the community. • Promote Diversity- Expand the library’s resources as a community and career information center. Use a the library as a stage to showcase Arts, Technology, Athletics, Academics Recreation
