  3. Best Selling Novel of the Year The book Airport’s plot takes place in Lincoln International Airport located in Chicago. Trouble starts to brew when an overnight snowstorm causes many flights to be stalled and Flight control has to land an urgent flight. But this flight doesn’t just have to land it has had a bomb detonated on board and has severe decompression. This book is by far the most suspenseful this year. Arthur Hailey ,born in Luton, Bedfordshire ,England served in the royal air force at the start of World War II. After his service he became a full time writer in 1956. He made a successful television drama for CBC. After his novel Hotel He moved to California and soon after that to the Bahamas to avoid income tax.

  4. President Nixon Here is a short biography about our president. He has always been a great debater and leader even in school. President Nixonhas dealt with the war by making the war officially Vietnamese. The good news is the economy is doing great because it is the end of the war.

  5. The Andy Griffith Show Review The Andy Griffith show is a sitcom which consists of comedy and is suitable for all ages. The storyline is that a widowed sheriff and his son live with his aunt in the small town of Mayberry, NorthCarolina. With no crimes to solve in the small town, Andy finds himself in complicated but easy life. In my opinion this is a must watch show if you like comedy shows for the family.

  6. Sports In this year’s Summer Olympics, Tommie Smith was a gold medalist after competing in the 200 meter dash. His athletic ability was recognized during the games because he was so far ahead of the competition. At the end of the dash, Smith and 3rd place winner John Carlos raised their black glove fists in the air to represent the civil rights movement. It is categorized as one of the strongest impacts in the movement.
