  1. Quadrilateral Mapping Sol: G.8 a, b, c

  2. Use the Boxes at the top to fill in the properties. Polygon with 4 sides. 1) opposite sides are ≅. 2) opposite ∠’s are ≅. 3) Consecutive (same side ∠’s) are supplementary. 4) Diagonals Bisect each other. 5) (each) Diagonal Separates the parallelogram into 2 ≅ Δ’s. 6) If 1 right ∠, all right ∠’s. Quadrilateral: Parallelogram:

  3. *All properties of parallelograms + • Diagonals ≅ • All ∠’s right angles *All properties of parallelograms + • 4 ≅ sides • Diagonals ⊥ (90° angles) • Diagonals bisect ∠’s Rectangles Rhombus

  4. ALL properties of Parallelograms Rectangles And Rhombus 1 pair of ∥ sides Median: Square Trapezoid

  5. Base ∠’s ≅ • Same – side interior ∠’s supplemantary. • Diagonals are ≅ Adjacent side are ≅ Diagonals are⊥ No ∥ Sides Isosceles Trapezoid Kite

  6. Definitions A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel. A rhombus is a parallelogram with 4 congruent sides. A rectangle is a parallelograms with 4 right angles.

  7. A square is a parallelogram with 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles. A kite is a quadrilateral with 2 pairs of adjacent sides congruent and no opposite sides congruent. A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with exactly 1 pair of parallel sides. An Isosceles trapezoid is a trapezoid whose nonparallel sides are congruent.
