A quick, fun way to get SCHOLARSHIPS while learning about the Kiwanis Family. • Participating in these scholarships does not cost you anything and only takes about 3 minutes. • Prizes include: • $250 in scholarship money for the top 5 scorers of the winning team • 5 passes to the Key Club Weekend Retreat, Key Leader • $1000 scholarship for the Club’s Faculty Advisor • Pictures with the CKSF Staff. • Recognition from local Kiwanis Club What is the Key Club Challenge?

You can take the quiz whenever you’d like between October 14th – October 21st. • I recommend that you sign up for other quizzes and practice with the quizzing system because you only get ONE chance with the Key Club Challenge quiz. • Does anyone have ANY questions on the Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation or the Key Club Challenge? Aktion Club • Aktion Club is another Service group that is also sponsored by Kiwanis. • Aktion Clubs consist of adults with disabilities, but instead of them receiving help, they are the ones volunteering. • Only service club for adults with disabilities with more than 9,000 members worldwide! • Get involved with our local Aktion Club!

  4. Aktion Club Car Wash! • Saturday, October 13that the Davie West Group Home (6601 SW 41st St, Davie FL, 33314) from 10am – 1pm • Get your car washed! $7 for cars and $10 for trucks/vans. There will also be food for sale. • Bring basic car wash items such as sponges, tags, towels, or soap!

  5. Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF provides life saving medicine, education, clean water, and nutrition for kids in need all over the world. • UNICEF has saved more children’s lives than any other humanitarian organization. • We have all of October to fundraise as much as we can. • Every little bit helps! $3.33 a day for just one month can give 7 families clean water kits to ensure that they have safe water to drink. • Boxes are due on November 4th.

  6. Saturday, October 20th at Nova Southeastern University from 8am – 12:30pm • A way to learn more about Key Club, what we do, and how we work through the use of Key Club Workshops. • Serves as this October’s Divisional Council Meeting. • Registration is $5 per person and includes lunch. Key Club Kick-Off Conference (also known as KCKC)

  7. Halloween Party • Saturday, October 27that Children’s Harbor Foster Home (19425 SW 58th Manor, Pembroke Pines, FL 33332) from 6pm – 8pm. • The kids, who usually cannot go to get candy, will now be able to Trick-or-Treat. • If you decide to come, we encourage that you dress up for the little kids. Remember there are no masks allowed.

  8. All Committee Chairs will give a 15 second rendition of what their Committee does. • Then, each of you will go from booth to booth learning about each Committee. Choose your Committees!
