  1. Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disease that affects almost 1% of the population, which means millions of people across the globe! While there are so many cases of Parkinson’s around the world, patients always feel themselves to be lonely when the ailment strikes them. This is because they start feeling embarrassed in front of other normal people, and helpless because they are unable to execute simple everyday chores. Once struck, this disease slowly progresses towards getting worse, with symptoms of tremor, rigidity, and difficulty in movement. Such helplessness slowly and gradually results in frustration and depression. While there is no permanent cure for this disease, there is also no known cause for it. It could be a possibility of heredity, but other causes are not known. And, because there is no known cause, there is no possibility of prevention. But, this doesn’t mean that we advise everyone to start smoking, because smoking is indeed harmful to health, causing many other problems. So, what we can advise here is that cigarettes are made from tobacco which has the neuroprotective effects; and tobacco is the nightshade family of vegetables. So, you can instead increase the intake of other nightshade plants like potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. Other products that can help you prevent or control Parkinson’s disease include caffeine in coffee and tea, which is associated with a 1/3rdlower risk of Parkinson’s. Hence, you could start drinking 2 cups of coffee, or 4 cups of black tea, or 8 cups of green tea every day. Also, you can include intake of uric acid of a level of 5-7 mg/dL as it is also neuroprotective. However, anything above or below that level could possess Parkinson’s, gout, kidney disease, and heart disease risks. So, you need to be careful!
