    We must rule technology – technology must not rule us Helped by Human Oversight and advanced ICT 2013 to 2023 to 2033 For Jane and Joe Public and Family a Smarter – Quicker – Cheaper - System of Justice for All Legal Advice for $20 per hour – not $200 per hour Why ? Because one important Pillar of our Civilisation is the Rule of Law and another important Pillar is the Future of our Children’s Children And because a fundamental Right of All is a well-balanced and easily accessible System of Justice John Ritchie McGladdery LVI FALM Conference 2013
  2. # The benefits to the Public, with Lawyers’ use of advanced ICT, will be a smarter, quicker, cheaper, better system of Justice. Use of the revolution in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) can bring many benefits to all who will wish to use Legal Services. # The benefits for the Legal Professionals are, through ease and speed of ICT combined with an overall reduction in costs, the retention of old Clients and the gaining new Clients. # The benefits to the Judiciary, thus to the Public, will be more open and transparent Justice

Jane and Joe Public like Law via the Internet LVI and also like Free Access to Law Movement FALMin addition they would also like Free Representation, Free Judgments, Free Monitoring But nothing can be totally free even though Online Interactive Legal Advice Centres e-LACs would make all of the above substantially cheaper to Jane and Joe Public Jane and Joe Public want to pay only $20 per hour Lawyers like to be paid $200 per hour so how to accommodate all Parties ? How best to Fund the creation and operation of e-LACs ?
