Mole Conversions to Volume

Mole Conversions to Volume. For Gases. One mole of any gas fills the same volume, difference masses but always the same volume. One mole of gas = 22.4 Liters (22,400mL) of gas Practice Problems Chapter 9 pg 249-250 #15-18. For Liquids.

  1. Mole Conversions to Volume

  2. For Gases • One mole of any gas fills the same volume, difference masses but always the same volume. • One mole of gas = 22.4 Liters (22,400mL) of gas • Practice Problems Chapter 9 pg 249-250 #15-18

  3. For Liquids • Molarity is used to determine moles in a volume of a liquid. • Molarity means the number of moles in a Liter (1000mL) of water. • For example: a 2M solution of CuSO4 has 2 moles (g) of CuSO4 in a Liter of water. • Practice Problems Chapter 18 pg 509-511 #8-11
