  1. EAT,SLEEP,PLAY,REPEAT….. EAT,SLEEP,PLAY,REPEAT….. HelloPairents…Howhaveyouallbeen…. Thoughconnectedthroughpicturesandposts,writingwassomethingImissedalot. Finally,Ihavemanagedtogetsometimetopendownafewthoughts.Workandfamily haskeptmequietoccupiedandhenceIhavehaddaysofjustcrashingoff. Butwow,thatgoodsleepafteranexhaustedday! ThatbringsmetothethoughtIwouldliketosharewithyouall,somethingthatIlearnt frommyexperienceandofcoursealsosharedbysomeexperiencedpeoplearoundme. Kidsneedtoventouttheirenergyforahealthymindandbody.Theyneedtoengagein activitiesthatletthemusetheirreservedenergy(trustme,thisenergyisdangerousif storedforus). Theyneedtobeengagedthroughtoutthedaytokeepthemselvescalmandpeaceful. Withmyelderone,IhaveseenitquitewellandIamsure,fewamongstyou experiencedPairentsmusthavefeltittoo.Themomentyourkidhashadanengaging andanenergyconsumingday,theyhavebeenlesscrankyandsmilingthroughout.This

  2. isbecausethereisnopilingupofanyenergymakingitdifficulttobetakencareofand unknowinglyfeelingrestlessandirritatedbecauseofit. Casesinwhich,kidshavenotdoneanythingproductivebutengagedwiththeidiotbox alldaylongmayalsofeelunnecessaryirritationandbecomerestlessbytheendofthe day…Alsokeepingthemengagedthroughsomecreativestuffisagoodwayof distraction. Diwaliholidayswereutilizedwell,asPairentsweletoureldersonenjoythefestival throughrangolis,Diyapainting,cleaningthehouse,encouraginghisinvolvementinthe basichousechores. Smallinitiativesliketheseandaninvolvementencouragingsurroundingisallthatthe kidsneed.ItkeepsthemgoingandhelpsPairentstoscheduletheirdaywell. HencestrictlyfollowthemantraofEat,Sleep,Play,Repeatforyourlittleonestokeep themhealthymentallyandphysically….. Cheers!
