  6. Target audience • Products are aimed at types of people: gender, age, race, beliefs, etc. (we’re going to perform a walking debate now) MEN Unsure WOMEN

  7. Presentational devices we shall be examining: • Pictures / images • Colours • Headings, Subheadings – LANGUAGE being used! • Logos • Captions, (explanations)

  8. Homework • Write a list of adverts you like. • 4-5 ideas max • Can be from TV, radio, newspapers, the internet, billboards, etc.

  9. Coming up • First we’re going learn what makes an advert. • Then your going to start creating adverts.
