  2. 5.1 - Detailed Specification of the local Pilots • 5.1.1 Local implementation / operating models (1st June 2011) • Preparation of a template for distribution to partners developing a pilot project (25p each) → common framework with 4.1.1 Contents: useful information to design each PP operating model • Implementation timeline (preparation, demonstration, monitoring and evaluation) • Main actors and local stakeholders involved (their role) → information flow • Introduction, Pictures, Tender documents, EVs technical specifications, References… in order to reach 25p!

  3. 5.1 - Detailed Specification of the local Pilots • 5.1.2 Prepare Procurement / Leasing document (1st June 2011) • PP3 will collect all the documents concerning the public tendering procedure for the acquisition/renting of the EVs necessary to run the pilots in: • Klagenfurt; • Reggio Emilia; • Bolzano; • Ljubljana; • Györ. • Short deliverable (1p each) describing the documents → common framework with 4.1.2

  4. 5.2 - Preparing the roll out –User/Staff Training • 5.2.1 Training Materials (1st June 2011) (25p PPT) • 1) For USERS: • How to properly drive an EV (car/pedelec) - different models with different characteristics; • How to properly charge an EV (slow and quick charge, high and low voltage, safety measures when charging or handling batteries); • How to plan a trip (distance, autonomy, nr. of charging points available along the trip); • Costs (for renting, charging, customer fees); • Where to make restitution / to have assistance in the city; • Parking facilities (costs and location of parkings, additional services available for EVs); • Map describing the city areas accessible with EVs;

  5. 5.2 - Preparing the roll out –User/Staff Training 5.2.1 Training Materials (1st June 2011) (25p PPT) 2) For FLEET MANAGERS: Knowledge on the set of different renting contracts (medium/long term contracts, daily/week contracts, client guarantees); What includes the renting fee (insurance, taxes, maintenance); Main different conditions of renting EVs to big companies or to single clients/privates (how to technically manage the charge of a car fleet, power needed); How operates an EV engine (basic components); How mange a charging spot: how to provide the supply of (renewable) energy;

  7. 5.2 - Preparing the roll out – User/Staff Training • 5.2.2 Test vehicles (May 2011)Reggio Emilia Status quo: • 5 EVs (Piaggio Porter Glass Van) rented out for 2 years from TIL srl; • Service provider selected through a public tender (Bid-at-three procedure) according to CE “Control and audit guidelines”; • TIL srl will also be responsible for the implementation of the PV charging station; • Rental contract includes insurance, taxes and maintenance costs.
