  14. CADET PLATOON AFTER ACTION REVIEWS • PT • Sustain: Letting I’s and II’s call cadence during DNC PT. • Improve: Time management during the PT Test. • Recommendations: Start the PT test before 0600. Put out to Cadet Platoon that they need to be at the office ready to go at 0535 on PT test day. • Lab: • Sustain: Spacing, security emplacement, lift and shift fire. • Improve: More than one person setting up TMK. Flanking element was too close to the support • Recommendations: SL could overlook the TMK while writing the OPORD. Better spacing during the assault while flanking the enemy • Recruiting and Retention: • Sustain:Getting our name out on campus through word of mouth in class and on campus. • Improve: Once we have access to “The Link” we need to put up recruiting events ASAP. • Recommendations: Talk to Aubrey Holt in the student services office located in Doc Bryan to see what locations and times would be best to set up our events. • Garrison • Sustain: Training Preparation. This has allowed for better overall quality training. • Improve: Attendance during training events. • Recommendation: Stress to all cadets the importance of showing up to training on time and prepared. This is a direct reflection of how they are performing in class. UNCLASSIFIED Payne06FEB14
