  3. GENERAL INFORMATION REGISTRATION – Officially opens online TODAY! Pink card is required in order to attend tryouts. Pink Card Distribution date to be announced. PHYSICALS: Should be completed and turned in during spring sport registration starting Jan. 16. Players must have their physical before they are eligible to tryout. FEES: Students will receive an invoice with a charge of $135.00. Max $270/ athlete with a $405 maximum per family/year This is the AHS fee for athletics, and does not include uniforms or Booster Club fees Booster Club fees are paid to AHS Girls Tennison March 3rd at the Parent/Player Team Meeting.   6. Tryouts Try-outs held February17-28, 2014 First day of try-outs for ALL TEAMS at AHS courts from 3:00 – 5:00pm Practice JV will practice Monday-Friday Varsity will practice Monday-Friday andsome Saturdays. Coach will determine
  7. What to Bring to Each Practice Tennis Racquet Tennis Bag Tennis Shoes and socks Water Bottle with water  Snacks Warm clothes
  8. JV TEAM Coaching staff assigns teams Seniors are welcome to play on JV All Doubles Teams play as many girls as the opposing team can provide (typically 8-12 teams) Practice M-F Away matches are nearby the high schools where the Varsity play Bus service from AHS courts at 2:30
  9. Varsity Team 11 players determined by Coaching Staff #1 Singles #2 Singles #3 Singles #1 Doubles #2 Doubles #3 Doubles #4 Doubles Alternates are JV players who “play up” on Varsity when needed. The JV uniform is required. Practice Monday-Friday Some Saturdays March-April. Regional and State Practice in May

AHS Girls Tennis Clinic Traditionally our biggest fundraiser Girls Tennis Team leads a 4 day clinic in late May for elementary age boys/girls Every Varsity player is required to volunteer 2 days Every JV player is requiredto volunteer 1 day You have the option to pay $100 per day in lieu of volunteering

Each family is asked to purchase one $5 reloadable gift card from the Tennis Booster Club Reload your card (up to $500) BEFORE you check out at either the check stand or Customer Service Desk Use check, cash or credit card (earn free miles) to reload 5% of your allowable purchases (grocery & gas) benefits the Booster Club

  15. Mandatory Meeting for Parents,JV and Varsity players Monday, March 3rd from 6:30pm to 8pmin Rooms W201-202 Mandatory Team Meeting for Parents, JV and Varsity Players Teams announced. Schedules, rosters, yard signs and uniform ordering will be discussed at this meeting- you mustbe present to order your uniform!!! Bring your checkbooks!!!!! Uniforms are pre-paid only. You will also pay Booster fees at this time.
