    2. Session purpose To examine the “Lesson Planner,” a built-in utility in the CSCOPE system for teachers to build lesson plans in a user-friendly way. Features: Import CSCOPE lessons or build your own Fully editable and customizable Ability to create templates and share lesson plans with a team Paperless sharing with administration—all online! Online storage of your lesson plans

    12. Writing Personalized Lesson Plans Imagine you are….. A middle school Social Studies teacher. You have chosen to use a: CSCOPE Grade 6 Social Studies Lesson 4-5 day lesson: Unit 2, Lessons 1 and 2 You have studied the lesson, reviewed it, and you want to use it with personalization. How are you going to use the lesson planner to document this lesson? Demonstration—approx. 30 minutes. Demonstration—approx. 30 minutes.

    13. Writing Your Own Lessons from Scratch Imagine you are….. A middle school Social Studies teacher. You have chosen to write a non-CSCOPE lesson for Unit 2 Social Studies. Do you still need to look at CSCOPE documents? Things to consider: Learning goals, TEKS, Performance Indicators, 5E’s, timing. How are you going to use the lesson planner to document this lesson? Pretend Lesson Import or Create Include Homework, Resources, TEKS, Performance Indicators Show edits or modifications Ask for help! Allow 20-30 minutes for them to create their lessons.
