  2. Introduction: Have you ever wanted to travel cross-country? What would you see? What would you do? Come with us as we explore our great nation and all the magnificent physical features that have been formed over millions of years.

  3. We will be taking a trip to three different United States Parks in three different regions of our country. As you are on your journey, think of the park and landforms you would like to further explore. You will be choosing one to research and share with the class. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy your trip from the comfort of your own classroom. Badlands National Park The Grand Canyon National Park Assateague National Seashore

  5. Badlands National Park If fossils, amazing scenery and hiking sound interesting to you, then the Badlands should be your choice! The Badlands are located in South Dakota.

  6. Assateague National Seashore

  7. Assateague National Seashore Bird-watching, swimming, canoeing and fishing are only a few of the activities available at Assateague. Also famous for the famous wild ponies that can be found roaming everywhere, Assateague is a nature-lovers paradise.

  8. The Grand Canyon

  9. The Grand Canyon National Park Many wonderful activities are available to visitors at the Grand Canyon National Park in northern Arizona. While there, one can enjoy rafting, hiking, mule rides and camping.
