  3. FRPWALKWAYS HOW DOES IT WORK? The main structure consists of in C- and I-profiles, fastened together with secondary beams of the same kind. The connections are made using stainless steel or FRP plates and bolts & nuts. Handrail Systems are made by assembling the FRP profiles with Cupro-Nickel rivets. The stanchions are placed approximately every 120 cm (max 130 cm) and are fixed to the structural profiles with two bolts; in the fixing spot the stanchion has to be strengthened by a PA reinforcement. The walking surface is built with a choice of FRP gratings, fixed to the main structure by clamps and bolts & nuts.
