Internal management of resources eats time and requires coaching • Guidelines for external telemarketing: • -Expect approx 80 call attempts per day, plan for approx 3 call attempts per contact. • -Expect that it is harder to get to senior contacts. • -Monitor data condition, measure completed calls and hit rate, review every 2-3 days • -If it doesn’t work – change the approach • -You must ensure telemarketers have industry experience
