  6. ATLUG • This is the 4th incarnation of ATLUG. The first was started in ‘90/’91. • We are in our 10th year of the current incarnation of ATLUG. • ATLUG meets quarterly on the 3rd Thursday of the second month of each calendar quarter. • 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in a local IBM facility. • Lunch is provided by IBM. • Typically two speakers. • Secrets of our success? • IBM’s support - Venue & Food! • Quarterly meetings • Run by a customer • Supported by great partners • Board: Chair (customer) and two Partners. Collaboration Stack Community • New technology agnostic Community to support those with a background in Collaborative software • Our first event was at the Soho Hotel in London on March 21st where we had two tracks • “Technology” – 3 x 10 mins talks on a topic from different speakers presenting their viewpoints followed by a 30 min discussion • Cloud: Mobility: Futures: Web Development • “Work and Life: - moderator led informal open floor discussions • “How to be a consultant”: “Balancing Work and Life”: “The Challenge of Home Working” • We hope to do follow on events this year and have a website and facebook group where you can join and keep up with our activities • We’d also welcome any volunteers who want to join or contribute • http://www.cscevent.com • http://www.facebook.com/cscevent

DanNotes - the Danish IBM user group • DanNotes was established in 1993 and is the oldest IBM Collaboration Solutions user group in the world • Our last event in November 2013 was our 50th event • Our next event will take place in May and will be a 1-day conference • Our next 2-day conference is planned for November 19-20, 2014 • Members of the organizers group include community members Thomas Lindberg, Tobias Fonsmark, Kirsten Dencker, Jens Overgaard Dinesen, Lars Olufsen, Jesper Clausen, Christian Dencker and Per Henrik Lausten • Visit dannotes.dk for details
