  2. Operations Section • Directs and coordinates all tactical operations. • Carries out the plan to mitigate the situation • Organization can consist of: • Single resources, task forces, strike teams • Air operations • Division, Groups, Branches

Planning Section • Maintain resource status. • What is here and where they are on incident • Maintain situation status. • Maps, Acres / structures lost, injuries, estimated containment • Prepare the Incident Action Plan. • Provide documentation. • Primary location for technical specialists. • Can be broken down into Situation, Resource, Documentation and Demobilization units

  4. Logistics Section • Provides services and support to the incident or event. • Typically broken down into: Food, Communications, Medical, Supply, Facilities and Ground support units • Two-branch structure if needed.
