BATAVIA ROAD LOCAL RESIDENT’S NEWSLETTER July 2014 Scheme CCS Registration Number: 74598 • Dear Neighbour, • Welcome to our latest Newsletter July 2014 • The Scheme is the design and construction of 114 No residential units in three blocks together with 1768 m² of commercial space and 116 m² of Café space together with associated external works and services and improvements to Batavia Road and Pocket Park at New Cross, London, SE14 6BQ. The accommodation is to be to include 101 No Private Sale and 13 No Shared Ownership units. • We are currently in week 49 of our programme and the concrete frames are all now complete. Brickwork has now commenced on all 4 blocks and we have internal trades working in block C. We have a “topping out” ceremony this month with the Mayor of Lewisham Sir Steve Bullock to celebrate the traditional key milestone reached on this development. • One of the tower cranes on site is due to come down this month and our priority will be to complete the external facades to allow the internal trades to commence in all blocks. • The roof works are ongoing.
