How to overlay photos in photoshop

HOW TO OVERLAY PHOTOS IN PHOTOSHOP

Pick two photographs! Save them to “My Pictures”

*Make sure your photos are “jpegs” and relatively the same size.


Step 2 open photoshop

Step 2: Open PHotoshop

Double-click the Adobe Photoshop button on your Desktop.

Click “Edit and Enhance Photo” Button

Click the “File” button.

Click “Open”

Open your pictures from where you saved them.

Once you find your pictures, click on them and then click “Open.”

*You can hold the control button and click on both to open them at the same time.

Your page should look something like this.

*If your page opens both pictures simultaneously, minimize one picture and maximize the other.

Click and drag the non-highlighted picture and drag it onto the picture in the center and release it in the desired position.

Click the black arrow to get a drop down menu in your Layers tab on the task menu.

After clicking the black arrow, a drop down menu will appear like this one.

Click one of the options.

Test out each option. Your pictures will mesh together in different ways.

“Linear Light”

“Overlay”

“Multiply”

Choose the option you like the best!

I chose this one!

“Multiply” option

Crop any edges that don’t line up.

Click the “Crop Tool”

Drag your cursor over where you want your picture cropped.

Click the red circle and start again if you don’t like how you cropped it. Check the green check mark when you are satisfied.

Click the “File” button and then click the “Save As” button to save your picture.

The “Save As” box will pop up and you can save your picture where you want and click the “Save” button.
