Very active Section with many active • IEEE Societies • Active Societies: Circuits and Systems, Communications, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Electron Devices, Engineering in Medicine and Biology ect. • Pre-college Education: Established teacher in service program two years ago • Other: Helped IEEE education board to manage an outreach program for increasing woman in engineering Philadelphia Section Activities

  9. Two active Society Chapters; Computer and Industrial Applications/Power Engineering • Have Gold Coordinator – Bo Wang • Working to connect GOLD members with UD graduating class to help GOLD affinity group become more active Delaware Bay Section Activities

Working on a pre-university program • Looking at working with Junior • Achievement to introduce engineering and scientific careers • Working on ways to make UD Student Branch more active • Best Practices: • Monthly Section meetings where they rotate venue to different colleges and Universities Delaware Bay Section Activities

  17. Although a small Section it is a very active Section with one Society • WIE Affinity Group Robot Challenge in April 24, 2010 at Cape May Museum • Community support with Atlantic County Women’s Center • Spring Fling • Adopted a family for Christmas Southern New Jersey Section Activities
