  1. Longman: Mac problems.by Rúnar Jakobsson - Thursday, 17 September 2009, 12:38 AM If anyone is still having problems with running the software on their Mac then I have a solution. Get your hand on a program called Crossover. Just google it or look it up on the apple homepage. (http://store.apple.com/us/product/TQ153LL/A) Install Crossover, then install the Longman software. (For some strange reason the icon for a computergame appeared on my Dock but soon the installer for the CD opened up) Now just press install and have patience. First time I tried it the install went on forever and I finally just shut it down. Second time around I just left it on its own for a while and my Mac finally plowed through. The software works like a charm now. Crossover goes for just under 70$ at the apple site but I'm sure resourceful students can find a site offering an substantial "discount"
