  6. Dear Students, First, welcome back to school! We hope that you had a restful summer. As we embrace this New Year, I want to remind you of some important new rules at our school. It is important that teachers and students now eat and chew gum during the lessons, co-operate less and try never to understand one another. We are not here to learn. We certainly hope you keep forgetting your books, pencils, and paper. We are experienced Rookies. Trust us! We will not work hard for your benefit. We do not like for you to ask questions, try hard not to do so. Do not sleep on success, but sleeping in class is good. Sleeping does work. Success comes to those who never do their homework and never come to school prepared, so they say. You do not have to be geniuses to pass your grade; just try hard not to do your best. Also, don’t forget, you can write recess assignments in your agendas, pay little attention to what your teachers say, and never do as you are told! It usually helps if you kick the trash can constantly when you don’t understand and be unorganized. Remember, “Well begun is half done”. If there is something you do not understand, forget it. If you are not happy in class be late, it is okay. Once again, welcome back to school and Good luck!

  7. What is wrong with the letter? Read the letter and highlight the errors Why do you think letter was written this way? Do you wonder why these behaviors occur in class? How does bad behavior in the class influence your learning? What happens when rules are broken in the classroom? How should the letter be written? Go to Letter

  8. Education is a Right and having a GREAT Teacher is a Privilege If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.  ~Attributed to both Andy McIntyre and Derek Bok

  9. Let’s Take a Another Look at the Letter!

  10. Based on the new letter, what can you do to improve your learning experience in your class?
