  3. Air Quality in Mays Landing. • The air quality in Mays Landing is not the best. The number is a 4.2. This number is in the lower range, which is not the best quality air.

  4. Why is Asthma Worse Today than 20 Years Ago • There are about 15 Million people suffering with asthma. The air quality, pet allergies, and pollen are all key factors in causing asthma.

  5. Athlete with Asthma. • Jackie Joyner- Kersee was diagnosed with asthma as a freshman at UCLA. Jackie used to hide her asthma from her coaches and teammates. Jackie did not take her medicine as persccribed, and suffered from a life – threatening asthma attack. Jackie quotes to Sporst Illustrated for Women, “ I finally learned I had to respect asthma as much as I would an opponent.”
