  3. Social Problems • The fundamentalism rising with violent actions against the minority (cases of Syiah, Ahmadiyah and Christian). • The sexual harassment against child grown more in last couple years.

  4. The invasion of multi-national and trans-national markets against the traditional markets. • Over population. • HIV/AIDS and prostitution. • Urbanization .

  5. The traffic accidents. • The absence of health facilities. • The transportation facilities issues.

  6. Economics Problem • Poverty. • The State policy related to the fuel prices and primary needs of peoples. • The monopoly system in the public needs sources by the multi-national corporations.

  7. The low standard salary for the blue collar workers and outsourcing system. • The local banks collapses.

  8. PoliticalProblems • The absence of democracy. • Wave of corruption amongst the parliament members, political party members and the government officers.

  9. Repression against the separatist movements such as Organisasi Papua Merdeka (Papuan Freedom Organization) and Republik Maluku Selatan (South Mollucas Republic).

  10. The rising of social militant groups who used violence against the other social group e.g Forum BetawiRembug (Gathering Forum of Batavian).

  11. The rising of fascism and the fear of Soeharto’s regime re-birth after the Cebongan Case, and the National Security Act and Mass Organization Act launched by the State.

  12. Cultural Problems • Westernization, K-Culture and J-Culture. • Agrarian problem between State and indigenous group. • Racism and discrimination. • Human Rights issues.

  13. Conflicts between ethnic groups. • Conflicts between social groups.

  14. Environment Problems • Mining industries destroyed the indigenous land and left the unhealthy environment to the people (such as: Freeport in Papua, Newmont in Minahasa, Indo Mines in KulonProgo, Aqua-Danone in Padarincang, Toba Pulp in North Sumatera).

  15. Mega project of MIFEE in Papua. • The de-forestation. • The mass destructions in fishing points. • Animals hunting and black markets against protected animals.

  16. Education Problems • The education problem related to the National Final Test which is considered by other as a centralism and similar to the Soeharto’s regime. • The high costs for university.

  17. The limited budget for the education. • The State policy against Local Culture in National Curriculum. • The educational facilities. • The teachers quality.
