  1. Child Development Practitioner Apprenticeship Program SUBJECT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

  2. Open your web browser; for example, Internet Exploreror Netscape • Click on this icon on your computer to get onto the Internet

  3. Type in the following link (address) and pressEnter:https://siris.senecac.on.ca/ • Be sure to type in the address EXACTLY or And you will see the following homepage.

  4. wleung1 xxxxxxx • On the bottom of the current homepage, please type in your My.Seneca(Learn) ID and password in the appropriate box. (When obtaining OneCard from the OneCard Office, students are provided with a slip of paper outlining their My.Seneca/LEARN identification.) Example: • Enterwleung1 as the My.Seneca/LEARN identification • Enterxxxxxxx as the Password • Click on the “LOG INTO SIRIS” button to enter into SIRIS If you need help to activate your account, please visit the following link: https://www.senecac.on.ca/pwservice

  5. Then you will see the following pop-up window. • Read messages • Click“Close”

  6. Your Name or • Afterward, you will see a webpage like the following.You may have to use your left mouse button to click on the down arrow key ( ) to move down the page.

  7. The bottom left hand side of the page shows you your choices. You can choose any options that you wish to see by clicking on a blue coloured button. • In order to register in a subject, click the “REGISTRATION OPTIONS” button.

  8. Menu toolbar • You will see the following: If you want to go to another option; return to the top of the page to find the menu toolbar.

  9. Please click on the “ADD SUBJECT” button.

  10. Then you will see the following and you have two choices: • Add the suggested subjects • Pick your own course

  11. To add the suggested subject • When you look at the “Suggested Subjects for Your Current Semester” option, you will see a certain subject has been suggested for you to take in the coming semester. This suggestion is based on your academic history; therefore, each student will have a different of suggestion. For example, if you are in first semester, the computer may suggest you take ECA121 first. • If you would like to follow the computer’s suggestions, please press the “ADD SUBJECT” button.

  12. You will see the following page:

  13. On the bottom of current page, it will show you all the available ECA121 course information. • Choose your desired time • Press the “Radio Button” in the “Select to ADD” column to the subject • Enter your password • Now click the “ADD THIS SUBJECT” button

  14. You will see the following page:

  15. When you see the following message, you will know your subject has been added successfully.

  16. To pick your own course • At the bottom of the page, click the “ADD SUBJECT” button

  17. You will see the following page. • Under the “Professional” options, click the “Down Arrow” button in order for you to see all the available courses • It will only show you all the professional subjects that you have left to finish • Pick the course, then click the “ADD SUBJECT” button • Now please follow the same Adding Procedures as shown before from Step 12 to Step15.

  18. Always, ignore the following two options, since they are ONLY for daytime fulltime students. • General Education Options and English Subjects • Professional Options

  19. To drop a subject • Click the “Registration Options” button from the menu toolbar of any page

  20. Then you will able to see a page like the following. • Click the “Radio Button” of the subject in the “Subject Code” column that you want to drop • Click the “DROP A SUBJECT” button

  21. On the confirmation page • Key in your password • Press the “DROP THIS SUBJECT” button

  22. By seeing the following message, it means your subject has been dropped successfully.
