  8. Battle Lake adopted CS policy and started Highway 78 planning process!

  9. Battle Lake met monthly to plan for MnDOT’s 2013 Highway 78 project!

  10. Battle Lake voted to submit their Concept Plan to MnDOT on Oct. 25!

  13. Lessons Learned • Find out when the next state road project is planned through your community. • Get your community together to discuss that project NOW! • Introducing the Complete Streets concept to your community in conjunction with a state road project is helpful, but not necessary.

  14. Seniors are a powerful force for Complete Streets!
