Center for Digital Government • The Center for Digital Government is a national research and advisory institute on information technology policies and best practices in state and local government. For more than two decades, the Center has been providing public- and private-sector leaders with decision support, knowledge and opportunities to help them succeed in 21st century government.

  3. Digital Government Achievement Awards • The Digital Government Achievement Awards recognize outstanding agency and department Web sites and projects at the application and infrastructure level. All United States and international Government Agencies- all levels and all countries - may enter their actively functioning, fully operational applications and projects. The contest is held concurrently with the Best of the Web Awards contest which has recognized excellence of official Web portals of United States cities, counties and states for the past 15 years.

Digital Government Achievement Awards • Government to Government: • Hawaii Electronic Bench Warrants: Approved members of Hawaii's law enforcement and criminal justice agencies may use the system to search for and view traffic warrants. • Maine Recovery Act (ARRA) Electronic Reporting Solution: Web site enables you to see information about the process as it unfolds and serves as the portal by which you can track how funds are being used in Maine. • Montana Roadside Citation ePayments: Roadside Citation ePayments is a web-based service that allows Montana Highway Patrol Officers to accept electronic payments roadside for citation fines using credit/debit cards through the Montana Department of Justice’s (DOJ) SmartCop Mobile Forms application (SmartCop).

Digital Government Achievement Awards • Government to Citizen • Colorado Tax Tracks: This website by the Colorado State Treasurer's Office will show you an approximation of how much you pay in state taxes and where your tax dollars go. • MVD Online-New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division Website: All in one site that allows users to access any of the MVD online services, provides information and facts about the MVD. • Montana Secretary of State Candidate Filing: This service allows you to file your candidacy as a member of a qualified political party or as a candidate for a non-partisan office. You may also view a current list of individuals who have declared their candidacy.

Digital Government Achievement Awards • Government to Business • Electronic Plans Submission and Review, Salt Lake City, UT: Salt Lake City’s Citizen’s portal allows citizens to apply for building permits, business licenses, engineering permits, fire permits, utilities permits, transportation permits and search address. • My Florida Market Place: MyFloridaMarketPlace is the State of Florida's online exchange for buyers and vendors. In operation for more than seven years, the system is a source for centralized procurement activities, streamlining interactions between vendors and state government entities, and providing the tools to support award-winning procurement for the State of Florida. • Choose Maryland: Maryland’s business portal. Allows users to learn how to start a business, find business resources, move a business, work information, facts and stats.
