What is ELM? • The Electronic Library for Minnesota contains 48 online databases specifically for Minnesota residents. • 24/7 state-wide access • ELM databases are available… • at http://elm4you.org • or via your school media center’s website • or via your local public library’s website ELM is brought to you by your local library or school media center, MINITEX, and State Library Services, the MN state library agency with state appropriations to the Minnesota Office of Higher Education and the Minnesota Department of Education, and federal LSTA funds under the support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

  8. Encyclopedia Britannica: School Edition (preK-5) • Full content from the Elementary Encyclopedia from Britannica. Includes Britannica Learning Zone for preK-2 students.

  9. Kids InfoBits (K-5) • Articles from magazines, newspapers, and reference books on animals, famous people, science, countries and states, and more.

  10. Primary Search / Searchasaurus (K-5) • Contains full text for more than 70 popular, elementary school magazines, as well as encyclopedias and dictionaries written for kids, plus an Image Collection of photos, maps and flags.
