  6. Christian Education Director • Projects the total ministry of the Church • Provides educational opportunity for the whole congregation • It under girths the entire ministry of the Church • Sees that special days are celebrated

  7. Commission on Membership and Evangelism • Works closely with Social Concerns, Class Leaders and Pastor • To be involved with new and present membership training • To visit sick members and maintain connections with Class Leaders, Social Concern members and Pastor • The checks and balance person (makes sure the Church has outreach ministry operating

  8. Stewards • Spiritual Leaders • Financial Keepers • Backbone to the Church

  9. Stewardess • Assists Pastors with opening doors to the new members • Assists in rituals like Communion • Assisting in helping the needy

  10. Recording Steward • Record keeper of all income • Makes Quarterly Financial report to Quarterly Conference • Apprises Pastor of financial state of the Church upon request

  11. Treasurer • Money collector from the congregation • Provides receipts to all sources • Deposits all monies in Church accounts • Provides Recording Steward receipts and deposit slips

  12. Superintendent of Sunday School • Administers the affairs of Sunday School • Supervises teachers and officers • Makes sure adequate curricular materials are used • Periodically evaluates all classes • Makes sure that appropriate devotions are held

  13. Social Concerns • To develop and promote programs that will help local congregations become more aware of and involved in evangelism and mission concerns • Works with ushers to create a mail list for those potential new members and works with Class Leaders and Evangelism Board to contact the sick in the community • Apprises the Church of any local or national news of social concern

  14. Ministry to Men Council • Seeks ways to enhance the ministry of the Church to men with special programs, training sessions, retreats, workshops and Bible study • It promotes the needs and interests of men in the Church and community

  15. Missionary President • Presides over meetings • Administers the work of the Society through its Circles • Sees that the work of the Missionary Council is carried out within the framework of the local Church with all ages, scholarships, social concerns and etc… • Elected by the Missionary Society

  16. Usher • Admit all into the house of worship and to attend to their needs while they are there • Assists in emergency needs • Makes sure all have Church Bulletins, hymnals and etc… • Elects a President and Officers

  17. Lay Leaders • Elected by the Lay Ministry • Observes National Lay Day • Promotes Stewardship • Encourages outreach • Circulates materials that are meaningful to men • Promotes recreation • Mentors young men

  18. Choir President • Elected by the Choir Members • To keep the music appropriate and viabrant • To learn new hymns and songs and help the congregation participate • To consider sermon themes, the occasion, the season, the parts of worship variety and balance
