  1. Biological Warfare How And What Are The Side effects of biological warfare on the environment.

  2. This Presentation is brought to you by:Jackie FloresFion Chan

  3. Table of Contents • What is biological warfare? • What does it do? • How does it affect the environment? • What are the side effects of biological warfare? • Solutions • Advantages of Biological Warfare • Summary • Bibliography

  4. What is biological warfare? • Biological warfare is defined as the intentional use of diseases to harm humans, plants, or animals. • The diseases are called microorganisms. • Microorganisms are bacteria or viruses. • These microorganisms can reproduce in our bodies and produce disease or death after infection with a relatively small number of organisms.

  5. What does it do? • That depends on what kind of biological weapon you are using: -For example, chlorine gas is inhaled in, and therefore attacks the lungs. It destroys lung tissue by burning it. -Most modern biological weapons focus on agents with more powerful killing power. That is less of the agent as long as it kills more people.

  6. How does it affect the Environment? • It affects the environment by killing off crops . • Therefore, if we eat these plants we also, become sick.Although, the bacteria or disease might not work due to the fact that it won’t have the sane effect on us.

  7. What are the side effects of biological warfare? • Apart from the fact that it kills the population of people, animals, and plants. • side effects are the residue from the weapon. • This may cause future outbreaks

  8. Solutions • The most obvious solution is just to not make bio-weapons at all. • They are very harmful to everyone and and even the people who manufacture them.
